This afternoon, I had the honour of leading the Westminster Hall debate on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision.

Sadly, many of the stories shared by colleagues during the debate were all too familiar to me, as similar experiences flood my inbox, surgeries and doorstep conversations all too regularly. Parents and families are desperate for help, facing a system that’s failing them.

I remain fully committed to tackling the SEND crisis that is affecting so many families, and look forward to working with the government to ensure that all children receive the education that they deserve.
