This morning, the Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs Select Committee met to question senior figures from OFWAT about the ongoing issues of water pollution and sewage spills. These are serious concerns that directly impact the health of our rivers, lakes, and coastlines, as well as the communities who rely on clean water. Holding water companies accountable is essential to ensuring they are doing everything they can to prevent pollution and protect our environment for future generations. I asked about environmental performance of water companies, and the enforcement powers of Ofwat.
