Asset with the question and answer

In a recent written question, I asked the Secretary of State for Education how much additional funding her department has allocated for special educational needs provision by Suffolk County Council following the Autumn Budget last year.

I was delighted with the response that £10.3million of additional funding has been set aside for Suffolk, that’s good news for families and young people who are affected by SEND. More still needs to be done to make sure we have a system that works here in Suffolk, but it’s a good first step for tackling a crisis that has been long in the making.

If you haven’t already, you can still submit into my survey on SEND – I’ve kept it open for a bit longer because so many families have reached out to me – fill it in here: Take part in my SEND survey and report.
